WEBCAST –

A Pew Research survey in September 2021 reported that 73% of Americans believe in heaven while 62% believe in hell. 39% of Americans believe that people who do NOT believe in God can go to heaven. Surprisingly, 34% of Protestants and 68% of Roman Catholics believe that people who do NOT believe in God can go to heaven.

The survey did not ask the “How” or “Why” questions – “How do people get into heaven?” and “Why is there heaven and/or hell?”. Thankfully, the Scriptures are not silent on these questions. God prompted the Apostle Paul to give a detailed answer to the first question in his letter to the Romans chapters 1-8. He addresses the second question in Romans chapter 9.
